Women Empowerment - They Said It was My Fate- Published in a Monomousumi Magazine- Cocktail creative.

They said: It was my fate!

Crossing the barriers crumbling me,
Spreading my little world with glee,
Had set I to emerge over all odds,
To purify an existence, breaking all locks.
Engineering a passion, management a boon,
Who knew? Could be suppressed by a heartless goon.
Travelled to the city to make a future,
Who knew? My life would take the worst juncture.
Excelled in the work, a sole dream,
To inspire other women, experiencing my dream,
Who knew? Success would not be well received,
And would suppress my entire deed.
That night robbed,
My precious honor, my own self,
Oh dear, was a terrible aspect,
Of the heartless society’s brutal-mental cassette.
I laid down on the devastated earth,
Drained of all my strength,
Pondering over a single thought,
Was this a result of dreaming, in a humanity drought?
So did I muster up courage,
One that did not come easily,
Which led me back to the ‘men centric’ town,
Where women never received progress’ crown.
THEY SAID IT AS MY FATE!
A fate bound to fabricate,
For I was a traitor, wronged my duty,
And tried to fly, with chopped wings?
THEY SAID IT WAS MY FATE!
Which took me across the doorstep,
Small kitchen to a big one,
Where the dreams of young girls burnt.
THEY SAID IT WAS MY FATE!
Women were unworthy of education,
Those educated received downfall,
So was my case, my respect was on the fall.
YES, IT IS MY FATE!
To rise above all, punishing the guilty,
YES, IT IS MY FATE,
To fight for all hidden under veils.
SO DID I! slashing the divisors,
Rising back, regaining my precious confidence,
A confidence reflecting many alike,
And punishing the evil, a victory not only mine.
Let US, the women of the world,
The mightiest and strongest of all,
Break our barriers, fly, sore higher,
For we are destined,
So that one day the society exclaims,
‘YES! IT WAS THEIR PROGRESSIVE FATE’.
